The UC Berkeley Comparative Literature Undergraduate Journal and the UC Berkeley Comparative Literature Undergraduate Association will be partnering to host the first UC Berkeley Comparative Literature Undergraduate Research Symposium. Undergraduates engaged in serious research in literature and languages will be invited to present their research.
We encourage all undergraduate and graduate students in literatures and languages to take the opportunity to attend this conference. Attendees will have the opportunity to attend those sessions that interest them and mingle with fellow students at catered meals. We hope to offer a space for students to dialogue about languages and literature in a warm and welcoming space.
Register today to attend the conference!
Not only will attendees be enriched by the experience, conference presenters will gain valuable experience. UC Berkeley is known for its superb teaching — especially for a research university — and its dedication to its students. We know that it is very important to spur professional development and support undergraduate research, and it is with this in mind that we have created the departments’ undergraduate journal and association. Now we hope to take a third step toward facilitating community, professional development, and undergraduate research in the department with the UC Berkeley Undergraduate Research Symposium.
